EAM: When an Asset Profile is Changed During Asset Recategorization, the New Profile is Not Displayed on the Audit Log. (Doc ID 2917347.1)

Symptoms

On the Cost Adjust/Transfer Asset, Action - Recategorization page, cost information tab, there is a hyperlink to change the profile.  If the profile is changed using this hyperlink, the updated profile reflects on the asset. But the updated profile is not shown in the audit log i.e. audit log shows the profile before the change.

Note: A feature to update the asset profile while recategorizing the asset was delivered in release 9.2  Image 41, through Enhancement Bug 32890169 BUNDLE ASSET RECATEGORIZATION AND UPDATE OF REPORTING ASSET PROFILE INTO A SINGLE TRANSACTION 

Steps to replicate

1. Enable audit logging for Asset Recategorization
    Menu > Ste up Financials/ Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Audit Logging > Enable Audit Logging.

2. Create a new asset using express Add.
     Menu > Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Owned assets > Express Add.

3. Recategorize the asset and update the asset profile.
     Menu > asset Management > Asset Transactions > Financial Transactions > Asset Cost Adjust/Transfers.

4. Review Audit logs.
    Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Audit Logging >Search Audit Logs.
