Symptoms
After submitting a 1098-T transmittal file, the following error is reported. This is reported when processing the 2021 taxation year and beyond.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Navigate to Student Financials, Taxes, Tax Reports, 1098–T Form Print;
- Select a run control;
- Complete the run control for the Taxation Year to be submitted, and selecting Media value 'Transmittal';
- Submit the process to the process scheduler;
- Send the transmittal file created to the testing site;
- Testing site reports the error when processing the transmittal file.
