Symptoms
When entering a value in the unit field for an element with the calculation rule as "Unit*Rate", the below error message is triggered in the One Time positive input page.
The error occurs while upgrading Peoplesoft from 9.0 to 9.2. The element is a customer-maintained earning element and it is working fine in the older version.
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Assign Earnings and Deductions > One Time (Positive Input) and enter a value in the unit field for an element with the calculation rule as "Unit*Rate".
3. Navigate to Global Payroll and Absence Management >Absence and payroll processing >Calculate Absence and payroll and run the payroll.
4. Notice the above error.
