EAM 9.2: User Cannot Configure Mass Transaction Definition To Have Value Of PROPERTY_SUBCLASS In User Field. (Doc ID 2919024.1)

Symptoms

Users are unable to configure the Mass Transaction Manager Definition page to include the field PROPERTY_SUBCLASS of the ASSET_PROPERTY record as a User Entered field. Because of this, the user cannot use MTM to perform changes to the PROPERTY_SUBCLASS field

Replication Steps:

  1. Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Asset Management > Mass Transaction Manager > AM Mass Transaction Definition. Open the definition for PHY transaction type.
  2. Add the Record ASSET_PROPERTY in the Source Records Section.
  3. Now attempt to add a new field PROPERTY_SUBCLASS in the User Entered Values section. The prompt does not show the PROPERTY_SUBCLASS field. This is incorrect.

Without getting this set up correctly, the users cannot use Menu > Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Mass Transactions > Run Mass Transactions to perform changes to the PROPERTY_SUBCLASS field for a set of assets.
