E-CLOUD: Search Framework Proxy Login Test Fails with Proxy login failed... Invalid user/password Error On Environments Built On Cloud Manager 14 (Doc ID 2920358.1)

Search Framework is not usable on Cloud Manager (CM) 14 environments that are using a connect ID other than the default 'people' account.

The Proxy User shows as the same customized connect ID specified when provisioning the instance.

When clicking on the Proxy Login button to test connectivity, the process fails with the below error:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Deploy an environment with Elastic Search node through Cloud Manager.
    Take note of having the connect ID set to a user other than the default 'people' user ID.
2. Log into the newly created instance to check Search instance.
    Navigate to PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Define Search Instances.
3. Notice that the Proxy Name is the same as the user-defined connect ID.
4. Click on the Proxy Login button to test the search access.
