PAGE.HRS_APP_NOTES – HRS_JOB_OPENING_ID On Existing NOTES Is Zeroed When Edited (Doc ID 2920516.1)

Symptoms

Job Opening Notes can be accessed in two different ways. Depending on how it is accessed the Job Opening ID is lost when editing existing NOTES.
Please check the attached for Method 1 replication steps.


Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Login to PeopleSoft as Administrator / Recruiter.
  2. Go to: Recruitment > Search Job Opening, look for Job Opening with Notes.
  3. Enter a Note for the an applicant and select the Job Opening for the note.
  4. Search the Job Opening ID then click in the click on the Applicant whose previous note has been entered.
  5. Then click on the Application Icon for. Go to the Notes TAB
  6. Edit the Notes added for the JOB Opening, note that the ID  goes missing and you are unable to save the changes.
