Symptoms
Chartfields i.e. CLASS_FLD, CHARTFIELD1, CHARTFIELD2, CHARTFIELD3 display their long and short names inconsistently in General Ledger pages.
On some pages, long description of ChartField is displayed on the page whereas on some pages short description is displayed.
When chartfields CHARTIELD1, CHARTFIELD2 and CHARTFIELD3, they have different long and short name for CHARTFIELD3, while same long and short names for both CHARTFIELD1 and CHARTFIELD2.
It has been observed that labels are not consistent for CHARTFIELD3 field in PeopleSoft pages. Regular Chartfields (i.e. Class, Dept) use Short Name form, while for ChartField3, it uses Long name.
Example/s: Class Fld uses Short Name, Chartfeld 3 uses long name.
