E-COMP: HTML Is Not Generated While Compare Project Between Databases Using psidex Command Line in Unix And Log Throws "Error - missing target database name. Must use -TD <database name>" (Doc ID 2924886.1)

On : 8.58 version, Application Designer

When trying to compare project between Databases through command line using Application Designer from Unix/Linux side, command processed but COMPARE.LOG file generated with the following error:    


The issue can be replicated with the following steps:

1. Run the below command in Unix by giving Source and Target Database details.

/u01/app/oracle/product/pt/ps_home8.59/bin/psidex -CT ORACLE -CD <DATABASE> -CO <OPERID> -CP <OPERID PASSWORD> -CI people -CW "xxxxxx" -PJM TEST_PRJ -TS <SERVER NAME> -TD <TARGET DATANBASE> -TO <TARGETDB OPERID> -TP <TARGETDB OPERID PASSWORD> -HIDE -QUIET -LF /tmp/01112023/test_db_compare/log/COMPARE.LOG -CL 150 -AF 0 -DDL 0 -OBJ ALL -CMT 0 -TGT 1 -ROD /tmp/01112023/test_db_compare -TI people -TW "xxxxx" -CMXML 1 -FLTR 11111 11111 11111 11111 11111

2. Open Log file generated.

3. Above error encountered and no HTML generated.
