EOEN: Alert Notification Framework Generates Push Notifications but doesn't Generate Emails After Running the EOEN_ALERT Process (Doc ID 2927409.1)

Symptoms

The Alert Framework creates push notification successfully as expected, but does not generate any emails.

Application : FSCM 9.2 PUM Image 39

STEPS
---------------
The issue can be reproduced by:

1. Navigate to Enterprise Components > Events and Notifications > Notifications Framework > Notification Registry and set up Notification Name to use EOEN.

2. In the Enable Custom Action section, check the "Enable Custom Actions" box and set the following:
       Application Class Path = EOEN_ALERTS
       Application Class ID = CustomEmail

3. Navigate to Enterprise Components > Events and Notifications > Alert Definition and create and configure the various alert definition as preferred.

4. Navigate to PeopleTools > Notifications > Notification Administration > Notification Settings.
    Ensure that Notification Name 'EOEN' has 'Email' and 'InApp' enabled or set to Yes.

5. Navigate to Enterprise Components > Events and Notifications > Run Alerts and run the EOEN_ALERT process.

6. Push Notifications are generated successfully but users receives no email alerts.
