E-COMP: Application Designer Closes Itself/ Crashes During Database Compare (Doc ID 2928459.1)

Application Designer closes itself/shuts down abruptly while running compare report between two databases.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into the Target database via Application Designer.

2. Click on Tools > Compare and Report > To Database.

3. Provide the credentials for the other database.

4. Run the database compare.

5. Notice that after some time, the Application Designer shuts down and closes itself.
