Symptoms

Issues with Fluid Delegations Emails and Approval tile:

Issue 1: When Absence delegation transactions are accepted, emails for any pending absences are automatically sent From the Delegate (Proxy) to the Delegator. The emails for pending absences should go from the Delegator to the Delegate (Proxy).

Issue 2: Navigate to Approvals tile, some accepted and some rejected, then a Delegation of Authority shows in the Approvals tile as action needing to be taken.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Pre-requisites:
a. Ensure Delegator and Delegate (Proxy) have valid email addresses on their User Profiles.
Navigation: Peopletools >Security > User Profiles > User Profiles
b. Ensure Delegator and Delegate (Proxy) have Delegations Role - EODL1100
c. Ensure Delegator has historical Pending Absence transactions awaiting Approvals

Next,
1. Log in as Delegator
2. Navigate to Delegations Tile > Create Delegation Request
3. {enter} current date, comments and click next
4. {select} Delegate (Proxy) and click next
5. {select} Delegation transaction, ensure to select Manager Absence History Fluid, Manager Absence Apprv, Manager Apprv Payable Time, Manager Absence History, and Manager Abs Cancellation Fluid.
6. Review and submit

Then,
7. Log in as the Delegate (Proxy)
8. Navigate to Delegations Tile > My Delegation Authorities Tile
9. On the Submitted tab, Delegate (Proxy) accept some requests, ensure to accept Manager Absence History Fluid, Manager Absence Apprv, and Manager Apprv Payable Time.
10. Then, reject remaining requests.
11. Issue 2, Navigate to Approvals tile, some accepted and some rejected, then a Delegation of Authority shows in the Approvals tile as action needing to be taken.
12. Issue 1, Log into the Delegate’s (Proxy) Email and notice when Absence delegation transactions are accepted, emails for any Pending Absences are automatically sent From the Delegate (Proxy) to the Delegator and other emails. The emails for pending absences should go from the Delegator to the Delegate (Proxy).

Note: If only part of the Delegations transactions are accepted, then an email does not get sent to the Delegator.
