Symptoms

Students who are on a LOA (Leave of Absence) and then return to take classes within the same term experience a tuition calculation error. The term spans a full year, from July 1 - June 30.  The student was on LOA at the start of the term, and becomes active after the term start date.  When the student returns to their studies, the Program Plan is updated with a RLOA (Return from Leave of Absence) with an effective date reflecting their return date.  The student enrolls in classes, and when tuition is calculated, the following error occurs.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Student Financials, Tuition and Fees, Tuition Calculation;
2. Select a student returning from a LOA (Leave of Absence);
3. Click the Calculate Tuition and Fees button;
4. The error is displayed in a pop up box.
