Despite Service Impact of GRADE, the Grades are Still Visible on Course History and Enroll by My Requirements Pages in FLUID Self Service (Doc ID 2932151.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A student assigned a service indicator with a service impact of GRADE is not able to access the View Grades page in FLUID self service, as expected. However, the grades remain visible and accessible on the Course History and 'Enroll by My Requirements' pages.

The expectation is that such a student should not be able to view grades anywhere in student Self Service.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Common Definitions > Service Indicators > Service Indicator Codes for a service indicator, and in the Service Indicator Impact section, assign the Service Impact of GRADE.
  2. Navigate to Campus Community > Service Indicators > Person > Manage Service Indicators for a student with grades, and assign the student the Service Indicator from step 1.
  3. Sign into the application as the student and click the 'Academic Records' tile on the Student Homepage.
  4. On Course History, note the grades are still viewable. In comparison, click View Grades page in the same navigation to note the page cannot be viewed.
