Symptoms
After the Lease Asset is transferred to a different set of chartfields, the Asset Allocation Process (AMALLOC), goes to No Success with error "ORA-00001: unique constraint (EMDBO.PS_DSTLN_IU_TAO) violated" in the Process Monitor Message Log
Process Monitor > Message Log error message:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create and Activate a New Payables Lease
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Create New Payables Lease
2. Calculate the Depreciation
Navigation: Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation
3. Create the Accounting Entries
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting Entries
4. Make sure the asset is included in the Asset Allocation ID
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Allocate Depreciation Expense > Asset Allocations
5. Process the Allocation
Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Allocate Depreciation Expense > Process Allocation
6. Create/Activate an Amendment and change some of the Asset Chartfields i.e. Fund Code, Department, Program Code
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Maintain Payables Lease
7. Calculate the Depreciation
Navigation: Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation
8. Create the Accounting Entries
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting Entries
9. Make sure the asset is included in the Asset Allocation ID
Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Allocate Depreciation Expense > Asset Allocations
10. Process the Allocation
Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Allocate Depreciation Expense > Process Allocation
