Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When inserting a new effective dated row in the Transfer Subject Area Page, Incoming Course Information from the current row is replaced with Component Defaults. The issue occurs only when minimum units/grade points are 0 in the Incoming Course Information, but it works as expected when these values are not 0.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Select Component Subject Area. Navigation: Records and Enrollment > Transfer Credit Rules=> Transfer Subject Area.
  2. In Correct History mode, change the Minimum Units and Minimum Grade Points in the Incoming Course Information to 0 and save. Navigation: Subject Area Elements > Incoming Course Information Secondary page.
  3. Insert a new effective dated row and save.
  4. Select Incoming Course Information.
  5. Minimum units are updated with Component Defaults instead of 0.
