Symptoms

After applying a change package containing the fix for Bug 34785519 - ADOPTION OF GLOBAL NAME FORMATTING IN CS – FIELDS, RECORDS AND OTHER COMMON OBJECTS, a Component Interface (CI)created from a delivered component fails when executed. This CI has been used for some time; prior to applying this maintenance, worked successfully.  After recreating the component interface from the delivered component, it is noted a new view, HCR_UPDNAME_DVW, is included in the component.   In some examples, this issue has occurred on custom component interfaces created from ADM_APPL_ENTRY1 component.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Within Application Designer, create a Component Interface from the component;
  2. Test the Component Interface;
  3. Save the Component Interface;
  4. The error is displayed in the Component Interface Tester.

Changes
