Enabling Role Name Catalog Security is Not Restricting Users To View Items from Different Catalogs (Doc ID 2934035.1)

Symptoms

When enabling the role name catalog security and that role is assigned to a specific user to see only the items on a specific catalog, still when that user searches for other items in another catalog able to see those items.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to : eProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Catalog > Catalog Security types and enable the security for any role name.
2. On the same page , authorize that role to only see one catalog.
3. Navigate to PeopleTools > Security > User profiles and assign that role to the user you are testing with
4. Navigate to Home page > eProcurement > Create requisition and create a new fluid requisition.
5. Search for any item outside of that catalog that user is authorized for.
6. Other items will return .
