E-PIA: Getting "cannot parse response" Error Viewing a Paycheck Using Safari Browser on an iPad (Doc ID 2937089.1)

Users are unable to view their PDF formatted files such as paychecks in PIA using Safari browser on Apple devices such as iPads.

The error message varies, but in some cases the following error is seen.


Steps to replicate: 

  1. Log into PIA (for example in HCM) using Safari browser on an Apple iPad.
  2. Navigate to a page such as Self-Service from which it is possible to view a pdf formatted file (e.g. paycheck).
  3. Attempt to view the file while in Safari, and observe the error above.
