Symptoms

When attempting to access a delivered Kibana Dashboard (e.g.: 'Application Detail'), the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
{"message":"OrclAuthPluginException[Authentication time out. Slow response from search server. Try reloading the page]: orcl_auth_plugin_exception","statusCode":401,"error":"Unauthorized"}

ADDITIONAL NOTE
-----------------------
Elasticsearch and Kibana on a machine with 4 CPUs already.
Reference:
E-KB: Unable to Load Any Dashboard Due to Instant Timeout -- Exception caught in security plugin for request /.kibana/_doc/config:7.10.0 , OrclAuthPluginException[Authentication time out. Slow response from search server. Try reloading the page] (Doc ID 2895910.1)

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue was reproducible in the customer site, intermittently, with the following steps:
[Using the 'Application Details' Dashboard as an example]

1. Navigate to Menu > PeopleTools > Search Framework > Assign Kibana dashboard roles and grant a role to delivered 'Application Details' Dashboard.
2. Log in with a user who has the above role.
3. See the Tile that should contain data from the Kibana Dashboard - Application Details. Note the error in the tile:
   {"message":"OrclAuthPluginException[Authentication time out. Slow response from search server. Try reloading the page]:orcl_auth_plugin_exception","statusCode":401,"error":"Unauthorized"}

4. Clicking on the Tile produces the same error, which is shown in the target page.

Note: The issue is intermittent in a way that, once it starts happening, it continues to give the error until the Kibana server is bounced. After the Kibana server is bounced, the error is no longer observed for some time.
