Last updated on APRIL 11, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Australia - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Working Holiday Maker has 2 jobs i.e. Empl_Rcd 0 and Empl_Rcd 1. Only Empl_Rcd 0 has payments in the payroll and no payments on EMPL_RCD 1 but tax applied on both jobs.

Issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Workforce administration > Job Information > Job data, Payee has two Empl Records in Job Data, Empl Rcd 0, 1. Both are active.

2. Navigate to Global Payroll Absence management > Payee Data > Taxes > Maintain tax Data AUS, Added row in Maintain Tax Data AUS page with Tax Scale as ‘H’ effective 1st Sep 2022

3. Navigate to Global Payroll Absence management > Payee Data > Assign Earnings and Deductions> One Time Positive Input, Marked REGPAY to Do not process in One time positive Input page for EMPL RCD 1 to ensure no payments to the payee on this record

4. Navigate to Global Payroll Absence management > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll, Processed Sep 2022 calendar, Empl Rcd 0 results are correct. However, there are no Earnings for Empl Rcd 1, but Marginal tax is calculated leading to Negative Net.
