Symptoms

Posted Events are not displayed for Suppliers on the "View Events and Place Bids" page

Note: In the Replication Steps, User Details / Company Names / Addresses / Emails / Telephone Numbers / Etc. are fictitious (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle DEMO Environments), any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 

       Note : To reproduce the problem, delete all rows of the PS_AUC_USER_CONTCT record.
      1. SELECT * FROM PS_AUC_USER_CONTCT;
            No Records
      2. Navigate : Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Add/Update Supplier
            Create new Supplier
            Enter Address
            Enter Contacts
            Enter Location and Save
      3. Navigate : PeopleTools > Security > User Profiles > User Profiles
            Create new Profile (TST1) for the Supplier
            Add ID Type : Vendor
            Supplier ID SHARE-TST1
      3. Navigate : Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Add/Update Supplier > TST1 > Contacts
            Enter User ID : TST1
            Save
      4. Navigate : Sourcing > Create Events > Create Event Details
            Add a new event
            Enter Event Settings and Options
            Enter an item
            Invite Bidders
            Search Supplier TS1 and Invite
            Save and Post 
      5. Login SUPPLIER Portal
      6. Navigate : Manage Events and Place Bids > View Events and Place Bids
            Issue : No Results
