E-QR: The Date Prompt In PS Query Editor (PSQED.EXE) does not Work in Tools 8.59 (Doc ID 2944637.1)

Last updated on APRIL 25, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.59 to 8.59 [Release 8.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Date Prompt calendar pop-up in PS Query Editor (PSQED.EXE) does not work in Tools version 8.59.
In PeopleTools 8.59 when running a Windows Client Query (i.e. launching Query from Application Designer) that has a Date prompt, the prompt does not launch the date picker calendar to be able to choose any date. Nothing appears for the drop-down arrow next to the prompt field for the date in client Query.

Steps to Replicate:
1. Login to Application Designer and click on the "Go" Menu.
2. Then click "Query" to launch Windows Query tool.
3. Search for or create a new Query that contains a Date prompt.
4. Run the Query.
5. Click the drop down arrow for the Date prompt field.
6. Observe the date picker calendar does not pop up.

Changes

Upgrade to Tools 8.59
