E-ES: The Global Search Bar Always Defaults to 'Menu' Regardless of What Is Defined in the 'Define Search Contexts' page (Doc ID 2944908.1)

Symptoms

After setting the default Global Search Category to any other Search Group other than PTPORTALREGISTRY (Menu), it was expected that the Global Search bar would default to that Search Category. The system is only displaying Menu as the default Search Category.

The issue is reproducible with the following steps:
1- Navigate to PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Define Search Contexts.
2- Click Search to open the Search Contexts that are available for the Home Page.
3- Expand the 'Search Context' grid and set any 'Search Category Name', other than 'PTPORTALREGISTRY' as the default.
4- Save.
5- Logout. Log back in.
6- Observe that the Global Search keeps 'Menu' (Search Group 'PTPORTALREGISTRY') as default.
