Symptoms
After implementing Unified Navigation, when users sign on to a PeopleSoft portal application and attempt to access any page of a content application. the "Page Loading/Spinning Wheel" icon will intermittently but very frequently continue to spin until the timeout limit is eventually reached.
Example: A user signs on to the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) application, which is the PeopleSoft portal application, and then navigates to a page in the PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, which is the content application. But, rather than loading the CRM page the "Page Loading/Spinning Wheel" icon continues to spin until it times out.
