Error "URL Catalog entry "PSSESATT_4vm/" not found. (2,716)" When Adding Multiple Attachments to the Supplier Attachment While Using FTP File Attachment Server (Doc ID 2947947.1)

Symptoms

When setting up File attachment with URL type server for an FTP link and creating a sub directory for Component "VNDR_ID" then When trying to attach files for any supplier, error occurs when adding more than 1 attachment.  


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Scenario 1:

  1. Navigate to  : Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > File Attachments >Administer File Attachments
       a. Pick Active Server 3, Type = URL, Server/Record Name/URLID = PSXXXXXX_4
       b. Component Subdirectories > Component = VNDR_ID
  2. Navigate to : File Attachment Setup > URL Maintenance > URL Identifier: PSXXXXXX_4, URLID = ftp://xxxxxx.xxxx.xxxx.//psfiles/data
  3. Navigate to : Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Add/Update Supplier > Identifying Information > Attachments link > add one attachment, no problem.
  4. Add multiple attachments and error is received: URL Catalog entry "PSXXXXXX_4vm/" not found. (2,716)

Scenario 2:

  1. Navigate to  : Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > File Attachments >Administer File Attachments.
  2. Set sub-folders for each type of attachments like supplier, payment request, voucher, etc.,
  3. Add an attachment to any supplier. The attachment goes to the main folder instead of the defined sub folder.
  4. Try downloading the attachment. It gives an error that no document found.
