Symptoms
When consuming a third party WSDL (SOAP) web service, the errors shown below have been seen.
'Failed to parse WSDL document.XML parser error CreateXmlDoc Fatal Error: at file Integration Server line: 1 column: 22 message: The main XML document cannot be empty (159,5) (0,0)'
Steps to replicate:
-------------------------------
1. Log into PIA, and navigate to the Consume web service wizard (Navigation: PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Web Services > Consume Services).
2. Enter the necessary WSDL information (e.g. Select WSDL Source, etc.).
3. Step through the wizard, and observe the errors shown above.
