Symptoms

Unidentifiable error message appears on JOB data when user tries to save a Job Data row having a Position by using an Inactive Job Code.
It showing a message that is not the root cause of the problem.
The correct message is requested pointing to the correct field.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Menu > Set Up HCM > Foundation Tables > Job Attributes > Define Job Code
2. Inactivate a Job Code used in a Position (e.g. 600010)
3. On Job Data use one of the delivered Empl Ids
4. Add a NEW Effdt row using a Position like KF000006
5. Click Save.
