Symptoms

Weblogic 14.1.1.0.0

Attempting to apply April 2023 CPU fails to apply WLS_SPB_14.1.1.0.230329. In the OPatch log located at:

<INSTALLER FOLDER>/patches/APR2023/WL/WLS_SPB_14.1.1.0.230329/tools/spbat/generic/SPBAT/logs/vs-<DOMAIN NAME>_spb_apply_YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MI-SS/opupg/OraInstallYYYY-MM-DD_HH-MI-SS<AM PM>

We see the following error:

[05/04/2023 10:11:45] - [ERROR] - [nonouiBinaryPatcher] : [171]- OPatch upgrade has failed while Applying patche to wls Home
