Symptoms

When running the command spbat.bat(.sh) -phase precheck -oracle_home <ORACLE_HOME> it errors at the command prompt with error similar to:

Inventory location file D:\app\oracle\inventory\inv.loc does not exist

[ERROR] SPBAT failed with error code 1

In the example above ORACLE_HOME was set to D:\app\oracle
