Symptoms

When there is failed scheduled search index process for search index EP_AM_METRIC_KIB in the process monitor, the Load Depr Reporting Table process (AMDPREPT) failed with the below error.

 


Replication Steps:

  1. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Deploy Search Objects - Deploy EP_AM_METRIC_KIB.
  2. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule Search Indexes. - Schedule search index - Create a new run control and do a full sync.
  3. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule Search Indexes. - Schedule search index - Create another run control with the name 'EP_AM_METRIC_KIB_INCR' and ran the process. The process went to success.
  4. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Deploy Search Objects - UnDeploy EP_AM_METRIC_KIB.
  5. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule Search Indexes. - Schedule search index - Create another run control with the name 'EP_AM_METRIC_KIB_INCR' and ran the process. The process went to no success. The run status field value is 10.
  6. Ran the AMDPREPT process and it did not abend. The process going to success is expected based on the code.
  7. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Deploy Search Objects - Re Deploy EP_AM_METRIC_KIB.
  8. PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule Search Indexes. - Schedule search index - Reran the full sync again to crawl.
  9. Ran the AMDPREPT process (Asset Management > Financial Reports > Load Reporting Tables > Load Depr Reporting Table). This time the process abended with the above error. The error is seen in the message log.
