E-ES: Components Still Appear in Search Results After Hiding Them From Portal Registry (Doc ID 2954682.1)

Symptoms

After hiding some components in the Portal Registry, we are still able to see it them in the Global Header (Menu category Elastic Search) bar on home page.
Example below for the Classic Home:

Steps:

1) Navigate to
       People Tools > Portal> Structure and Content> Fluid Structure and Content> Fluid Homepages> MY Homepage> Edit> Tile Content>

Disable all "Classic Home" check box and made it options.

2) Repeated step 1 for all the Fluid Homepage labels wherever "classic Home" refers.

3) Navigate to

People Tools > Portal> Structure and Content> Fluid Structure and Content> Fluid Pages> Peoplesoft Applications > Classic Home> Edit> Fluid Attributes >

Disable all check box under "Include in repository" like Homepage, nav bar, etc..

4) Repeated steps 3 for all Fluid pages where ever "Classic Home" refers.

After performing above steps we are still able to see "Classic Home" under Menu search bar.
