When Attempting to Load the Year-To-Date Direct Lending Reconciliation File (DSRF), Import Federal Data Files FA_INBOUND Runs to 'No Success' with Error 'ORA-01839: date not valid for month specified' Displayed in Output File (Doc ID 2955215.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run Import Federal Data Files - the FA_INBOUND Application Engine process - it finishes in 'No Success', with the following error displayed in the output file:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > Import Federal Data Files > FA Inbound.
  2. Enter path and file name for DSRF file and run the process.
  3. In process monitor, observe the process to finish in 'no success'
  4. Click Details link for the process instance, then the link that says 'View Log/Trace', then the link to the .stdout file in the file list and note the error message.

Changes

The issue is seen after applying the COD updates for the 2023-2024 Aid Year first delivered in PRP 34669862 - 2023-2024 AID YEAR COD UPDATE: COMMON OBJECTS - and then in the CS 9.2 PUM Image beginning with Image 29.
