Goal
What is the purpose of the Offset Days field in the Termination action section of Global Payroll/Absence Management Retroactive Trigger setup? Should entering a value in this field have any impact on the EMPL_STATUS value for Global Payroll and Absence processing?
Steps to locate:
- Main Menu>Setup HCM>Product Related>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Triggers>Trigger Definitions.
- Select the Trigger Definition for JOB.
- In the "List Fields with Trigger" section, for Field Name "Action", click the "List Field Values" hyperlink.
- For the various actions, note the "Offset Days" column/field.
Offset days may be set up for any action; the question in this document asks the purpose of the field as it relates to a Termination.
