E-RTI: RTI (Real Time Indexing) Does Not Work if Namespace Aliasing is Configured

Symptoms
Environment is configured to use Suggestion Search and all triggers enabled. Namespace aliasing is also configured because this environment is a copy of PROD.
No suggestions appear for any search no matter how many times a search is conducted. There is no list presented at all. However when the user presses the [Enter] button or the magnifying glass, they are taken to the normal faceted search to continue their work as in the earlier PeopleTools releases.
Upon checking the underlying table PS_PT_PORTAL_MRU for suggestion search, it is populated with data and increases whenever users do a search.
