Is there a way to revert the Generate Results step when using Mobile Physical Inventory for performing asset physical inventory?

Scenario:

Users are performing the physical inventory process using the Mobile Physical Inventory functionality. Users have completed defining the inventory scope, creating schedules, and have run the "Generate Scan scopes" Step 1 in the Load/ Match/Reconcile section of the physical inventory process. Users later completed the "Generate Results" Step 2 in the Load/ Match/Reconcile section of the PI process. After this step, Users then noticed that there are many assets that exist in the PI_SCAN_HIST table but not in the PI_SCAN table. Users would like to revert Generate Results step so that they can scan the missing assets again and rerun the Generate Results step.
