If the User Searches for a Case-Sensitive Event Name, There are No Results on the View Events and Place Bids Page (Doc ID 2962291.1)

Symptoms

The Event name parameter uses a case-sensitive word and does not return results on the "View Events and Place Bids" page.

Note: In the Replication Steps, User Details / Company Names / Addresses / Emails / Telephone Numbers / Etc. are fictitious (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle DEMO Environments), any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
       1. Login SUPPLIER Portal
       2. Navigate : Manage Events and Place Bids > View Events and Place Bids
              Enter Event Name :  “Laptop” and Search
              Note : Results are displayed if event name contains the word “Laptop”
       3. Enter Event Name : “laptop” and Search
              Issue : There are no results
       4. Enter Event Name : “LAPTOP” and Search
              Issue : There are no results
