SA-HELP Loan Entry Is Not Available For Re-post After Deletion On the TCSI Student Page (Doc ID 2964490.1)

Symptoms

After deleting a SA_HELP Loan it is not available to be re-posted. Prior to CS 9.2.027 the loan was available for re-posting.

It is expected a deleted SA-HELP loan will be available for re-posting after it is deleted.

In one reported case, the ability to repost the deleted loan was always an option prior to upgrading to the newer PUM Image, so it was expected the functionality would continue to work the same on the newer Image


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Post a SA-HELP loan (Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > AUS Regulatory Reporting > TCSI > Transaction Maintenance > TCSI Student)
  2. Update the loan with SQL
  3. Delete the loan
  4. Attempt to re-post the loan

Update Campus Solutions to Update Image 27, CS 9.2.027

In one reported case, the issue was seen after updating to CS 9.2 PUM Image 27. However, based on the explanation detailed in the next section, it is not clear what specific fix(es) delivered in Image 27 would have impacted this issue.
