In Microsoft SQL Server Environment, Temporary ID Lookup on Transaction Management Process Page Never Completes and Eventually Re-Directs Back to Login Page (Doc ID 2965716.1)

On the Transaction Management Process page, when clicking the prompt for the Temporary ID field, then clicking on one of the search results on the Look Up page, nothing further happens. Instead of going back to the main page with the Temporary ID populated with the chosen value, The Look Up Temporary ID page remains open and the action eventually times out, with the application logging out back to the sign-on page. 

The issue is only seen in environments on the Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) platform and does not occur on other database platforms. 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Student Admissions->Application Transaction Mgmt->Transaction Management Process
  2. Click the prompt for the Temporary ID field. 
  3. Click on one of the results returned in the search. 
  4. Observe the spinning icons and eventual logout back to the sign-on page.
