Last updated on AUGUST 09, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.60 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A user who is not authorized to access the Customization Repository page attempts to do so.
Using the dropdown menu (which uses PTPORTALREGISTRY) in the Search Suggestion, the user enters "Custom" in the search field.
"Customization Repository" entry is included in the search results even though it shouldn't be.
If the user then attempts to access this component by clicking on (selecting) the entry, the following error is seen.

"You are not authorized for this page."

Replication steps:
1. Log into a PeopleTools (PT) 8.60/HCM 9.2 Demo environment using the sample user AADAMS.
2. Enter "Custom" in the global search field, and observe that "Customization Repository" is displayed even though it shouldn't be.
3. Select (Click on) the "Customization Repository" entry, and observe the error above.

Sample Environment:
PeopleTools (PT) 8.60.04
HCM 9.2

Upgraded to PT 8.60.
