Symptoms
Run status of the COBOL SQL process (For example : FSPCCURR , GLPCLOSE ) incorrectly updates to Success while it still in "Processing".
COBOL processes prematurely goes to success while they are still running/processing. COBOL process calls an Application Engine (AE) to process the journals and the AE updates the COBOL process instance to success, although the COBOL process is still running. Subsequently, when the COBOL process finishes the processing, it updates the run status. It should keep the status as 'Processing' while processing is running.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Run the process FSPCCURR
2. Notice that it will change run status to Success, but logs shows that process is still running.
