GPESP: Employee With PARTIAL MATERNITY and Other LEAVE Hours shows Wrong Hours in Cret@ report (Doc ID 2968499.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Spain - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an employee has registered for the same days, partial maternity leave + unpaid leave the hours sent to Cret@ are not correct.
Instead of subtracting only the hours of partial maternity, it takes into consideration the two absences, and the total count is wrong for both.

Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Add the following absences for an employee
-> Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Maintain Absence > Maintain Absence ESP
MATERNIDAD PARCIAL for 2.10H
PERM NO PAGADO HRS for 1H

2. The hours rendered in Cret@ for the month with the absence events are: 90
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Social Security/Insurance > Cret@ Individual Data ESP

Instead of the correct amount which should be: 41.
This means, (8 (h worked)-2,10(hours for partial maternity ) x 7 working days.

However, it calculates 90 hours because it is calculating with Permit Not paid/ hour, duplicating the hours, although it should not consider it.
The registered hours, as calculated by the system are :

8-2,10= 5,9
8-1= 7
5,9+7= 12,9 x 7 working days = 90
