Symptoms

Real Time Indexing (RTI) is not working for environments on MS SQL Server due to Oracle specific syntax.

Errors are observed in the APPSRV_MMDD.LOG log file of the Process Scheduler (<PS_CFG_HOME>/appserv/prcs/<DOMAIN>/LOGS), such as:

File: E:\PT859P13B_2209272133-retail\peopletools\src\psrtisrv\psrtisrv.hSQL error. Stmt #: 11871  Error Position: 0  Return: 8601 - [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server][SQL Server]'TO_CHAR' is not a recognized built-in function name.
