When eBenefits Is Not Installed and Database Update Requires Approval, New Marital Status Change Can Be Entered in Self Service While Previous Change Is Still Pending Approval (Doc ID 2971477.1)

Symptoms

When a eBenefits is not used and Marital Status change requires approval, such a change is submitted in Self Service Fluid Personal Details. The Marital Status tile on the Personal Details dashboard shows the message "Pending Approval", but the details of the pending status change are not displayed when selecting the tile and an additional change is allowed to be submitted.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

     1. Ensure that PeopleSoft eBenefits is NOT selected in the Installation Table (Navigation: Set Up HCM > Install > Installation Table).
     2. Navigate to in SetupHCM > Common Definitions > Self Service > Workflow Configurations.
     3. Disable Allow DB Update for Transaction HR_MAR_STATUS_CHG and Save.
     4. Log in as an employee
     5. Navigate to Employee Self Service homepage > Personal Details tile > Marital Status tile.
     6. Submit a Marital Status Change.
     7. Return to Personal Details dashboard.
     8. Note the message on the Marital Status tile "Pending Approval".
     9. Click on the tile again.
     10. The Pending details are not displayed and the user is allowed to submit an additional change.
