Symptoms
After upgrading to Image 38 the AM_DPCLOSE process started to generate Lease payment interest accounting entries in DIST_LN table.
Hence, the fix enhancement bug 33559696 was applied to resolve this issue. However, the process still generates the Lease payment interest accounting entries.
1) Create a new Payable Lease.
Menu > Lease Administration > Payable Lease > Create new Payable Lease.
2) Add the base rent and required Financial information.
3) Add asset details and classify the asset as Operational.
4) Activate the lease.
5) Calculate Depreciation.
Menu > Asset Management > Depreciation > Calculate Depreciation.
6) Create accounting entries.
Menu > Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting entries.
7) Close depreciation.
Menu > Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Close Depreciation.
