Goal

Beginning with Aid Year 2024-2025, the process for calculating an Estimated Family Contribution using Institutional Methodology (IM EFC) is changing, for both Profile and non-Profile Institutional Applications.

In Aid Years 2023-2024 and earlier, functionality has been provided to override the EFC calculated by the IM INAS Cobol, with the overridden value(s) updating the STDNT_AWD_PER_INST_EFC field.  The overrides have been accessible within the 'IM' Extension link on the Maintain Institutional Application components and stored on the INAS_PROF_EXT table in the following fields:
