Symptoms
From Announcement page, if Learner clicks in Global Search bar, the complete list of results are not displayed.
ERROR
From Chrome Browser Developer Tool, identified the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'getBoundingClientRect')
at PTS_SearchUI.ptsReposition
From Chrome Browser Developer Tool, identified the following error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'getBoundingClientRect')
at PTS_SearchUI.ptsReposition
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in in as a Learner
2. From Employee Self Service fluid dashboard, Learner clicks Learning tile
3. then, Learner clicks the ELM Announcement Tile
4. then, Learner clicks in Global Search Bar and {select} Learning, notice that only one (1) result displayed and not the complete list of results.
