E-IB/ePro: "PublicationContractManager::ProcessError/RetryResponse(): 'Unknown error occurred..." Errors When PV_ORDER Message is Sent to OSN Using fscm_epo_OSNTargetConnector (Doc ID 2981383.1)

As part of the upgrade, the site installed fscm_epo_OSNTargetConnector, delivered with FSCM 9.2/PUM48.

When sending a Purchase Order via Integration broker (IB) using PV_ORDER Service Operation to the Oracle Supplier Network (OSN), the following errors are observed:

ERROR in the Application Server log:

PublicationContractManager::ProcessError/RetryResponse(): 'Unknown error occurred (possibly a Java HTTP exception). Check Application Server log for details. (94,56)'.

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xpath/XPathAPI
  at com.peoplesoft.fscm.epo.servlet.Support.fscm_epo_ExtendXml.findNode(

Steps to replicate:

1. Upgrade a PeopleTools environment from PT 8.58.xx/FSCM 9.2 pre-PUM 48 to PT 8.60.xx/FSCM 9.2/PUM 48

2. Set up the integration.

3. Perform the action that triggers the request message to be sent.

4. Observe the errors in the logs above.
