ECA 9.2: For A Recurring Contract, The Process Recurring Billing (CA_BI_INTFC) Process Is Not Creating Expected Billing Invoice. The Process Completes With Warning Status and the Message Log Says “No Bill Plans Processed.” (Doc ID 2981730.1)

Symptoms

For a recurring contract, the CA_BI_INTFC is not processing the invoices to the billing module.

Error Message:

"No Bill Plans Processed."


Replication steps:

  1. The contract has a Recurring product Contract line. (Navigation: Customer Contracts > Create and Amend > Define Contract General Info).
  2. A Recurring Bill Plan is associated. The start date is 10/1/2023 and the end date is 9/30/2050. Yearly-OCT schedule was used. The schedule says the annual schedule for Oct month and 1st day of the month. (Navigation: Customer Contracts > Schedule and Process Billing > Define Billing Plan).
  3. The user ran the Recurring billing process ( Customer Contracts > Schedule and Process Billing > Process Recurring Billing). Contract BU and Contract specified. Bill Thru Date Option was chosen as "Current Date". Today's date is 10/17/2023.
  4. The process ended with a Warning status and the message log says "No Bill Plans Processed".
