HR Notification Runs to Success but Mail Server Errors: SMTPaddressFailedexeception: 452 Error: too many recipients (Doc ID 2982063.1)

Symptoms

HR Notifications Announcement and Notification are sent however, emails are not sent with the following error on the mail server:

SMTPaddressFailedexeception: 452 Error: too many recipients

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Set up a Notification that will generate a list of 9.000 recipients.  Navigation:  Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > HR Notification.
  2. Run the HR Notifications using the Query to see the error on the email server.
