EEX 9.2: Having Enabled Screen Reader Mode, Windows Narrator Tool Reads Out Loud Multiple Times the Pop Up Message of Fluid Expense Report Creation in Google Chrome Browser (Doc ID 2984144.1)

Symptoms


When logged in Accessibility Mode via the enabling of the Screen Reader feature, it has been detected that the Windows Narrator tool reads out loud multiple times the pop-up message the system triggers when a new Expense Report transaction has been created/saved in the system using Fluid User Interface.

This seems to be happening in Google Chrome Internet Browser.

REPLICATION STEPS:

    1.- Go to the FSCM 9.2 Online Application login screen, and select the Enable Screen Reader Mode check-box
    2.- Place the User ID VP1, and Password needed, and click on Sing In button
    3.- Load the Employee Self Service Fluid Homepage
    4.- Click on the Expenses Tile
    5.- Click on the Create Expense Report Tile
    6.- Confirm that the system has loaded the Fluid Expense Report Header page
    7.- Fill in the Fields of Business Purpose, Description, and Default Location
    8.- Using the keyboard, select the combination of keys: Control + Windows + Enter
    9.- This activates the Windows Narrator accessibility tool
    10.- Place the cursor on the Default Location field
    11.- Click the TAB key numerous times to navigate through the various page fields, while Windows Narrator is reading out loud such field's descriptions
    12.- Expand the Expense Report Action drop down, and select the option of 'Add Expense Lines'
    13.- The system saves the Expense Report Header information, and started loading the Fluid Expense Entry page
    14.- Automatically, a pop-up message is being triggered informing the User that the transaction got successfully created
    15.- PROBLEM: Windows Narrator is reading out loud the message at least twice

POP UP MESSAGE:

     " Message

       Expense Report ID XXXXXXXXXX, ZZZZZZZZZZ, has been created. A new expense line has been added. Select new expense link to edit.

       OK "


For those Users requiring Accessibility Mode feature being turned on, having the pop-up message be read out loud multiple times is confusing.

The pop-up message should only be read once by the Windows Narrator feature.
